Can't get it to detect new version

I've installed V1.5 of my application, which includes a button which calls AutoUpdater.Start.
I've loaded V1.6 installer (InstallShield LE, single setup.exe file) to update location.
I've created a myapp.xml file noting V1.6 is available.

I run 1.5 and call out to the update, but nothing visible happens. I know the Autoupdater is being called as I'd not included the referenced file in 1.4, I fixed that in 1.5.

How do I verify the version numbers anticipated in the xml align with whatever you're using to validate the update is necessary?

I'm using the compiled version downloaded today, though I needed to sign it with a strong name. Hopefully it's something painfully obvious I've missed, otherwise I'm happy to download the code and build. Suggestions welcome...

Ok, nvm. I got it to work - I was setting the ClickOnce version numbers on the Publish tab, not the Assembly/File versions on the Application>Assembly Information dialog.
